Il Hyun Cho received his Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University. He has held research fellowships and visiting positions at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard University; the Department of Political Science, Stanford University; the Institute of Social Sciences, the University of Tokyo; the Center for the Study of the Presidency, Washington, D.C.; and the Center for International Studies, Yonsei University, Seoul. Prior to coming to Lafayette, he was an assistant professor of political science at Cleveland State University.

Teaching and Research interests:

International relations, global governance, nuclear proliferation, regionalism in world politics, Chinese foreign policy, Asian politics

Selected Publications:

His research has been published or forthcoming in Global Governance, Review of International Studies, Foreign Policy Analysis, Strategic Studies Quarterly, Chinese Journal of International Politics, and Korean Journal of Defense Analyses.
